Manicures are a simple pleasure, but the right mani is life changing. Okay, obviously I might be lil’ emotional about my nails, but a well done mani is an effortless statement — refined and graceful.
I once got a job as a result of someone noticing my manicured hands, no lie!! Nails are that detail people notice but seldom mention. Trust me, let someone see you with chipped, busted nails and they will have formed an opinion of you. Likewise, rock some perfectly shaped nails with beautiful shiny polish and you’re ready to take on the world. My life long scheduled manis are an essential part of my beauty maintenance; shucks I’ve been nail obsessed since I was 12 years old when I discovered I could grow long strong nails. All of my 20’s until about 6 years ago, I had but 3 colors on rotation: Essie’s – Ballet Slippers, Mademoiselle, and Sugar Daddy. Ladies, I was in LOVE with those polishes, still am!! Unfortunately, Essie doesn’t make them in gel and with my job there is no way I can go back to a classic manicure. Recently, my manicurist got me the most beautiful natural pink gel polish that I can’t get enough of: OPI Bubblebath. Just one coat leaves my nails with that pretty, classy, clean hint of pink that makes me oh so happy!!
