There has been so much to smile about this past month darlings. Being back at work has been a blessing. If you keep up with me on Insta, you’ll know that I’ve been flying quite a bit lately. I even made it back to the beautiful island of Maui a few times, so you know I’m enjoying life for sure. In addition to racking up the frequent flyer miles, I’ve also been acquiring a nice list of my newest favorite beauty essentials that I’ve been dying to share with you.

Becca Cosmetics Eye Brightener

I had no idea my aging eyes needed this product.  How do I describe it? Think of an eye cream that hydrates, protects, and locks in moisture for your eye area except it’s a concealer!!  By no means am I saying it’s an “eye cream” but in my opinion it acts like one. A little goes a long way with this one darlings. I rub a small bit on my ring fingers, then gently tap and press the brightener into my under eye area.  It can be worn under your concealer or all by itself. This Becca product is simply brilliant for my long days of flying.

Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Concealer

We all know very well the 1st signs of aging can be seen around the eye area.  Concealers, a product most of us can’t live without, can settle in fine lines and wrinkles…ya’ll know what I mean.  Introducing your new favorite concealer…because everyone needs to get this…like immediately!! After using this for last month I can only say how much I love this product!!  It has long lasting coverage that moves with every smile, laugh, and squint…basically just like Laura Mercier claims it does. The only downside, in my opinion, is the color selection.  I wish it came in a slightly lighter shade for my skin tone. Other than that I will forever call this my go to concealer.

YSL Touche Eclat All-in-one Glow

Every beauty brand makes tinted moisturizers right?!  How are we to know what’s what and which one will do the job?  You don’t have to take my word for it, but this water based medium coverage moisturizer has SPF 23, hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and it’s EVERYTHING as in everything you need!!!!  Ideal for all skin types, it’s super fluid, glides over my skin evening out my tone, leaving me with a glowy silky finish. I like to apply it with my fingers, one small pump is enough to do my whole face.  What I like most about this moisturizer is my skin still looks like skin, it can breathe and gives me the radiant coverage I’m looking for. Oh, and this lovely product comes in a wide range of skin tones.

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipblush

I will not shut up about this product.  I’m all about multi-purpose products that actually work.  This a lovely lightweight buildable product for either the lips or cheeks, I like to apply to lips & cheeks for a cohesive look.  I have extremely oily skin and it simply melts into my cheeks. Super easy to apply, dab the applicator on your cheeks and tap into skin until it blends in.  As a lip product I’d have have to say I find it bit drying for my crusty lips. I like to apply a bit of balm on the top to help fight the dryness. Chanel is obviously a luxury brand but for whatever reasons this duo product is rather competitively priced at $30.   Watch out darlings…the colors are so gorgeous. I bought 4 colors!!!! Basically that means I bought the 4 that looked good on my skin tone: Teasing Pink, Burning Berry, Rouge Captivant, and Orange Explosive.

Tom Ford: Matte Lipstick in Fetishest

Finding Tennille “pink” lip colors that work with my skin tone ain’t easy!!  Clearly I’m willing to pay for it too…hence the major coin it costs me for one Tom Ford lipstick.  Listen, at this point in my life I don’t justify why I like beautiful luxury items. As long as it doesn’t get outta hand I will continue to buy lovely products like this perfect matte lipstick!!  I love the colors, coverage, and finish of Tom Ford lipsticks. They last well and for a matte lipstick it doesn’t over dry my already dry lips. Fetish in particular is a rich rosy pink that pairs nicely with warm eyeshadows or a sharp cat eye and a fresh face with a bit of blush.  Can I also say, I love TF packaging…it must be where my money goes because it’s very sexy!!
