One of my all-time favorite Christmas traditions is the advent calendar. When I first started my career as a flight attendant, I remember the mom guilt of missing out on school events and holiday moments with my girls due to my travel. I started my advent calendar tradition to spoil my girls with holiday cheer even when I was away from home.  I love that no matter how old May and Xia get they still look forward to their daily surprises through out the month of December. I’m so excited to share this year’s Advent Calendar Gift ideas with you darlings!

Advent CalendarThis year is extra special because I filled the calendar with TTL favorite beauty products and more! This is not a sponsored post but the items featured were graciously gifted by many of my favorite brands. A big thank you to them all! It’s an absolute dream to be able to gift my girls many of my personal favorites.

Advent Calendar or Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Teen Girls

???? The #1 thing I always include in my advent calendar each year are undies. May and Xia are obsessed with Aerie undies. They are super comfy and their holiday undies are adorable!

???? Who doesn’t love Christmas socks?! These holiday socks from Aerie and American Eagle are super cute and such a great value!

Earrings are the perfect size gift for advent calendars. I picked pieces from two of my favorite brands.

???? Mejuri Jewelry: Mejuri is one of my everyday favorite jewelry brands. The quality of their pieces is lovely at a great price point. I love that Mejuri is committed to using 40% recycled gold. Get 10% off your order when you shop using my affiliate link here: Tennille’s Mejuri Favorites

???? Bare & Golden Jewelry: I just love Bare & Golden Jewelry. The owner Mary is so lovely and has been a long time supporter of TTL. B&G is a small female run business. All of her pieces are made in the U.S. I love the uniqueness of her pieces and I feel so honored that Mary sent over some pieces for the girls. The Lil Strawberry Hoops and Avocado Earrings were purchased by me, and the Juniper Hoop and Cairo Pharaoh Midi hoops were gifted. B&G has lots of holiday sales going on at the moment but feel free to use my promo code: goldenTTL for 20% off any item.

Dermstore is the one stop shop for all things beauty, makeup, skincare and more. Shop their holiday event for up to 30% off using promo code: SHARETHELOVE (Ends 11/30) *Exclusions Apply. Dermstore was so kind to gift the following TTL favorite items I selected for their girls:

???? Slip 3 Pack Large scrunchies
???? Slip 6 Pack Skinny Scrunchies
???? Avene Sheet Masks
???? 100% Pure Sheet Masks
???? Nest Fragrances Mini Candle
???? Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

Lip gloss, mascara, lip balms, and blushes are the ultimate stocking stuffer for teen girls. These are May and Xia’s favorite teen approved brands/products:

???? Kosas
???? Ilia
???? lilah b
???? Tower 28

Nail Polish Advent Calendar Gift Essie Nail Polishes are our household favorite. Quarantine has really forced us to step up our DIY manicures and the girls are going to love adding some new colors to our collection. The colors I’ll be gifting include:

???? BonBon Nuit
???? Love Frost Sight
???? Twinkle Time
???? Adrenaline Brush
???? GEL Couture Good Night
???? GEL Couture Pre-show Jitters

Cocokind is a wonderful skincare line for teens (and adults!). Not only are their porducts clean and gentle but also super affordable. So of course I had to add a few of the girl’s favorite products to their advent calendar:

???? Turmeric Tonic is great for treating acne spots!
???? MyMatcha Stick is the perfect all-in-one moisture stick. It can be used for dry chapped lips, dark under eye circles or dry spots.

Cocokind’s Black Friday sale is going on now. Visit Cocokind.com to shop 20% off sitewide (plus store credit to use in December).

Prepping CalendarThat’s a wrap darlings! While I’m super excited to share my favorite items with my girls this year, I want to emphasize that the advent calendar tradition is not about the money you spend. It’s all about tokens of affection and the memories you create. Some budget friendly ideas that I’ve shared with my girls over the years are chocolates, candy, and even special handmade coupons for holiday activities with mom (e.g. Cookie decorating).
