My Daily Vitamin and Supplements Routine

I get this all the time — Do you take supplements and which do you take?? 

Daily Amazing Grass TrioOver the years I have taken a variety of vitamins and supplements.  I don’t know about you guys, but I have asked myself ARE ALL THESE BIG ASS PILLS EVEN DOING ANYTHING??? Well I cannot say 100% if they ARE, but I can say that my body is thriving so yeah, they must be doing something. In the last decade I can count on one hand how many colds I have had. Ehhhhhh, okay so there might be something to the whole take your vitamins thing.

To be fair, the person who takes supplements is probably also paying attention to their diet and more likely to exercise and lead an active lifestyle.  Collectively supplements, for me, are an essential component of my lifestyle. They prop up what is lacking in my diet. Other supplements work in my body to heal and restore day-to-day environmental stressors.  Some even safeguard my body from common ailments and long term diseases. For these reasons I actually look forward to taking my supplements. I don’t look forward to actually swallowing them, but yeah I like knowing that these little pills (and my wheat grass powder) are naturally healing my body.  SUPER COOL!!

Dosage: 1 scoop per day in warm water

I’ve been drinking wheat grass for years and more recently switched to a blend with wheat grass, barley grass and alfafa.

Dosage: 2 capsules per day

  3. Thank you for listening and sharing. However I’d like to know if you take all these supplements at once OR you take them at specific times during the day ,so that you’re taking about six tabs and capsules by the end of day.

    I am 50 years young and been wanting to change my diet and eating habits and now even more so because my digestive system is not allowing me to eat just anything without disagreeing. I wanted to know what would be the best way to start gradually moving towards a vegetarian lifestyle for a healthy start.
